About Us

Operations, Support and Development

In order to continue our success in this field, OFM have invested heavily in our operations department and the facilities available to them.

We have a solid structure which leaves no room for failure or bad quality within our organization. It allows constant support to the site managers and clients, giving them specialist help for the required areas of our line of work. The whole operations team is handpicked from within our organization due to their wealth of knowledge, many of which have been promoted through the ranks.

As part of our operations team, the Training And Development department covers all aspects of our work with specific trainers for each job role, giving on-the job coaching. These include Training and Development Chefs, Training and Development Bakers / Pastry Makers and Training and Development Housekeepers.

At our training and development academy in Hassi Messaoud, we are also able to offer our employees first class training by fully qualified teachers plus recognized catering and hospitality qualifications, helping them further their career.

Our operations team not only works with our site teams, they are in constant contact and communication with our clients, helping to achieve the highest standards that OFM and our customers demand.


QHSE and Employee Welfare

QHSE

At OFM QHSE is one of our major focuses and we firmly believe that we are leading the way in quality QHSE practice in Algeria. After taking our strict medical test and free from risk, all employees take part in an initial QHSE induction at our operational base in Hassi Messaoud and then continuously trained through regular onsite courses by our site managers and QHSE/Supervisory team.

These training courses include:

Fire Safety, Food hygiene, HACCP, PPE, COSHH, Manual Handling − Full details can be found by request in our OFM Operations & QHSE manual.

We believe in giving our employees the correct tools to complete their job to the highest standards, in the safest possible manner.

Employee Welfare

Looking after our staff is the key to our success, so we ensure they are provided with the following services:

Correct PPE, Transportation to and from their home address, quality food and drink for their journey, 4x4 rotation, market leading salaries, clean new beds, bedding and facilities during crew changes, regular medical tests with a free drug prescription and an open door policy to all supervisory/management staff as well as the Human Resources department.
